Token description
We chose to use identical tokens to the ones in the Huron et al. study study. Below is a picture of the tiles box provided to participants. Below is a 3D model of one token

Microsoft Excel Description
We are using the Microsoft Excel integrated into Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010, Version 14.0.7162.5000 (32-bit) on a windows operating system

Visual literacy test
We use the Jeremy Boy’s bar chart visualization literracy test, the source code can be download here. We edit the data to simplify the mental task during the tiles task. Our version of the data can be find here:
